CIRCLES
I danced round and round
My partner spinning me,
In circles
I was shouting out with glee,
“This feels like me”
I like the way I feel
Even though this is so surreal.
Please don’t tell me,
I’m in a dream
If it’s a nightmare,
Will I scream?
I found myself on the floor,
Memories and feelings
On my sleeve
I heard his words
Whispered to me,
“Take these gifts,
I give to you
Show others what you need.”
